Do I need to know anything about technology before we start?
Not at all! Many of my clients start from scratch. That's exactly what I'm here for. We'll begin wherever you are and move at whatever pace feels comfortable for you.
What devices do you help with?
I work with iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, laptops, and desktop computers β€” both Mac and Windows. If you have a device and a question, I can help.
How long does it usually take to learn what I need?
It depends on your goals. Some people feel confident after 2–3 sessions. Others enjoy ongoing weekly visits to keep learning new things. There's no commitment β€” you decide how many sessions you want.
What if I forget what we covered?
Totally normal β€” that's why I leave you with simple, written step-by-step notes after every session. They're your cheat sheet, written in plain English so you can do it again on your own.
Do you travel to my home?
Yes! I serve the Charlotte, NC area with in-home visits. I also offer virtual sessions over Zoom or FaceTime, which work great for quick questions and follow-ups β€” and are available no matter where you live.
How is this different from calling my phone carrier or asking a family member?
Your family loves you but often moves too fast. Tech support lines read scripts. I sit beside you (or on a video call), go at your pace, and make sure you actually understand β€” not just get a quick fix that you'll forget tomorrow.
